Please find a construction update below regarding work on King from Union to Wellington:
Work continues on King, from Union to Wellington, to accommodate the relocation and upgrading of underground utilities such as the watermain, storm sewer and sanitary
The King and Green intersection will be closing on approximately July 6-8 for three days. Traffic travelling north and south down King will be maintained between Green and Union
Access to and from King at the following intersections is limited to emergency services, hospital patients, students, local residents and businesses only: Union, Mount Hope, Pine, Green, Andrew, Agnes, Louisa, Wellington, Moore and Victoria South
On June 29, crews began working on the utility line crossings on King, between Green and Wellington. Crews are in place to help guide drivers to area businesses and organizations. This work will continue for approximately two weeks
Please pay extra attention for pedestrians. Stop signs and construction signage is in place throughout the work zone
Remember: all BUSINESSES ARE OPEN during ION construction and our team is there to help get you to where you want to go. In front of Grand River Hospital (from Union to Green), two-way traffic is maintained.
