This message has been forwarded on behalf of  ION Construction and provides an update on the work being completed between Union and Wellington.

Work to install traffic signal conduits and communication duct banks as well as infrastructure that will support the overhead catenary system that powers the train continues

Crews continue to build the new staircase at KCI

The Grand River Hospital Stop foundation is now installed

On March 23, installation of the LRT track began, from Wellington to Union

Intersection closures: King/Green closed on May 10 until approximately mid-June, the closure will be in the center of the intersection in the LRT track bed. Those wishing to access Grand River Hospital from Park will need to do so from Mount Hope

Louisa/King will remain closed until  approximately June 3

Andrew/King will remain closed until  approximately June 3 One lane northbound on King, from Wellington to Green, will remain open for the duration of these closures. Pedestrian access will also be maintained
