The WRDSB has divided the 10 exam days into a 1:4 day split each semester, as shown on the KCI school year calendar.  The mid-semester day, at the midpoint of each semester, is an opportunity for students and teachers to focus on a variety of assessment and evaluation products, conversations and observations that will aid students in consolidating learning and working towards a provincial standard of the overall expectations prior to a reporting period. Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15th is the date of our first mid-semester Assessment, Exam and Evaluation day.
  • Students will be required to learn remotely (asynchronously or synchronously) or in-person, depending on the needs of the student.  Teachers have been asked to communicate with their students & their caregivers the expectation/schedule in advance.
  • The schedule for the day will be a regular Week 2 schedule.
  • Students who are not required to attend in-person can learn from home.
  • Transportation will run at regular times.
ACE Classes: Students in our ACE classes will continue to attend in-person on Assessment, Exam and Evaluation Days to help ensure that they have the support needed to continue their learning.
