You can also change the language you choose to search in. Go to the Widget (looks like a sprocket on the top right; you can only see it once you’ve entered a search term/search settings/Languages(it’s on the left side)/change your language to French

The Gale database and Ebsco also let you toggle Languages (top right corner). Not all the collections have French materials, but some – like the World History collection – have some items.
Canadian Reference Centre has French. Limit results by language to filter out articles (towards the bottom left side).
