Included below, please find the latest information we have on the ION construction in King, from Union to Wellington:

• Work continues on King, from Union to Wellington, to accommodate the relocation and upgrading of underground utilities (i.e. water, storm and sanitary)
• Access to and from King at the following intersections is limited to emergency services, hospital patients, students, local residents and businesses only: Union, Mount Hope, Pine, Green, Agnes, Louisa, Wellington, Moore and Victoria South
• Intersection Closure: Andrew and King reopened on August 27
• In September, road reconstruction work will begin along King, from Union to Green
• Work also continues to build the retaining walls along King

Drivers are encouraged to pay extra attention for pedestrians in this area. Stop signs and construction signage is in place throughout the work zone
