Career Studies (GLC2OH)

This course teaches students how to develop and achieve personal goals for future learning, work, and community involvement. Students will assess their interests, skills, and characteristics and investigate current economic and workplace trends, work opportunities, and ways to search for work. The course explores postsecondary learning and career options, prepares students for managing work and life transitions, and helps students focus on their goals through the development of a career plan.

Discovering the Workplace (GLD2OB)
This course gives students the opportunity to develop strong personal and employment skills through the combination of classroom work/discussion and volunteer placement opportunities. This course serves as an essential bridge between the Grade 10 Career Studies course and Cooperative Education.
Grade 11 

Peer Tutoring (GPP3OY)
This course gives students the opportunity to be a leader and a role model in a junior class and help other students experience success. You will be helping out in a specific class with a supervising teacher in an area that matches your specific skills. You will develop and apply skills in communication, interpersonal relations, coaching, teamwork and conflict management.
Leadership (GPP3OX)

Grade 12

Leadership (IDC4OX)
This course is designed for students with aspiration in all types of leadership. Students will receive hands on training and develop communication and experience leadership opportunities that will last a lifetime. This course is an extension of GPP3OX. Don’t miss this opportunity to develop lifelong leadership skills.
