The following is an update provided by Grandlinq:
- On January 4, crews resumed work from Union to Wellington
- Crews are currently working to install traffic signal conduits and communication duct banks as well as the overhead wires that power the train
- Crews also continue to work in the area to build the retaining wall at KCI
- As soon as the weather permits, crews will complete the installation of curbs, base asphalt and sidewalks on King, from Union to Wellington
- Intersection closures: The King/Mount Hope intersection will close on or about January 13 for approximately one week. Two-way traffic will be flagged from Mount Hope to Green for the duration of this closure
The King/Union intersection will close on or about January 18 for approximately six weeks. Pedestrians will be directed to cross at the north side of the King/Union intersection for the duration of this closure
