The KCI staff and students are ecstatic to announce that KCI was named Outstanding Production for the Western Region of the Sears Ontario Drama Festival. This means that Frankenstein is advancing to the highest level of the Festival for the Provincial Showcase on Thursday, May 12th in the University of Toronto’s historic Hart House Theatre.

The Regional level of the Festival brought 15 of the best Outstanding Productions from 5 different Districts together this past week at St. Benedict’s in Cambridge, with only 2 of those 15 moving on to the Provincial Showcase.  This places KCI ‘s Frankenstein in the top 12 productions out of more than 300 from across the entire province.

The adjudicator also honoured KCI with two additional Regional Awards of Excellence for Ensemble Performance to the entire cast, and for Lighting and Sound to our crew.
