As we approach the end of semester 1, we wanted to share the following information with our KCI students and families:

SEM 1 INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT DAYS (Jan 28, 31 and Feb 1)

From January 28-February 1, KCI students will be learning from home as they participate in the Instructional Support Days.  Teachers will be connecting with their students/families this week to outline their expectations regarding these days and student participation.

Students will work asynchronously or synchronously from home, depending on their needs. Teachers will be available to the students in the course blocks on the schedule outlined below. No new work or new assessments will be assigned as this is a chance to catch up and ensure understanding of the course material prior to the completion of the course.

SEMESTER 2 DAILY SCHEDULE & BELL TIMES

 With the support of the Ministry of Education and Public Health, all Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) secondary schools will be moving back to a regular semester model of four periods per day when semester two begins on Thursday, February 3, 2022.  KCI semester 2 bell times are now posted on the KCI website.

SEMESTER 2 STUDENT TIMETABLES

Students will be emailed their semester 2 timetables by the end of this week.

Students are asked to review their timetable information and take note of their course, teacher’s name and classroom number so that our friendly and helpful KCI staff can assist students as they navigate their way to their new semester 2 classes on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

SEMESTER 1 FINAL REPORT CARDS

KCI students will receive their semester 1 final report cards the week of February 14, 2022.  More information will be shared as the date approaches.
