We are excited to share important information with our students and families – 

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL SCHEDULE

We are looking forward to welcoming all of our OneKCI students on the first day of school – Tuesday, September 6th!  Our first day of school schedule provides an opportunity for our Grade 9 students to participate in orientation activities in the morning. 

KCI FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL SCHEDULE – SEPT 6 2022

8:20-10:30 Grade 9 Orientation – Grade 9s meet in the auditorium
10:30-11:15 Lunch
11:15 All students move to their Block A classes (check your WRDSB email for your timetable – emails will be sent by/on Friday, Sept 2)
11:15- 12:00  Block A – All Grades
12:05- 12:50  Block B – All Grades
12:55- 1:40  Block C – All Grades
1:45 – 2:30  Block D – All Grades / Grade 9 Chromebook distribution
2:30  Teachers and Guidance Counsellors available for consultation

STUDENT TIMETABLES

Our intention is to share student timetables to your child’s WRDSB email address by the end of this week.

GRADE 9 CHROMEBOOK DISTRIBUTION

Grade 9 students will receive their Chromebooks at either the Raider Camp day (Wednesday August 31) or on the first day of school (Tuesday September 6).

LOCKER DISTRIBUTION

Students who wish to obtain a locker on the first day of school must bring a combination lock with them to their Block A class. Keyed locks are not permitted. There will be a very limited number of combination locks available for purchase for $7 in the main office.

STUDENT FORMS AND PAPERWORK

  • You will receive your student’s Data Verification Form (DVF) on their first day of school.  Please check for this important documentation.  
  • Please look thoroughly through the DVF, update as needed and sign it.  Students are to bring their signed DVF within their first week of school.  
  • Medical Plan of Care forms (where applicable) will also be sent home
  • Reference the “School Year Information” Icon on the home page of KCI Website and then click on Action Required for all forms that must be completed.
