Student Progress Communication (October 14)
It is best practice that we communicate with parents/guardians information about the student’s progress. At this point in the semester, parent/guardian communication will be in the form of an email or phone call. This will not be a formal report, rather teachers will be communicating with parents/guardians on the progress to date for each semester 1 course. The progress communication will include either a level, percentage or a description of the student’s progress. Emails will be sent by October 14th. If we do not have an email on file, a call will go home. If you have questions please contact your student’s teacher(s).
Parents/guardians of students within the ACE Program receive ongoing communication from the classroom teacher. This is not a scheduled reporting period within the ACE program.
KCI Meet the Teacher Night (October 20th)
Parents/guardians are invited to attend the KCI Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, October 20th from 6:30-8:30 pm. It is an open house format, therefore, no appointment is required. We ask that discussions be time considerate so that all parents/guardians have the opportunity to meet their student’s teachers. If you require a more fulsome discussion please arrange a follow up conversation.
Parking is free in the King Street, Green Street and Walter Street parking lots. Families are encouraged to use the attached KCI staff list and map to plan their visit. We look forward to seeing you there!
Semester 1 Provincial Report Cards
- Semester 1 Mid-term Report cards will be distributed to students the week of November 21st
- Semester 1 Final Report cards will be distributed the week of February 13
