Our Commencement Ceremony will be held at Centre in the Square this coming Monday, June 16th at 7:00 pm.  Graduates are asked to arrive at the Centre in the Square at 5:45 pm wearing your gown and cap.  The doors will open for families and guests at 6:00 pm.  Ushers are available to help families find their seats.  Here are some additional details for our graduates:

  • Gown & cap pick-up will be at lunch in KCI’s front foyer this Thursday, June 12 & Friday, June 13.
    • We strongly encourage grads to pick up their gowns before the weekend; however, they’ll still be available on Monday if needed.
    • Any grads who can’t pick up your gowns at school can pick them up at the Centre in the Square upon your arrival.
    • If there are any problems or issues with gown pickup, please contact Mr. Kline at the school.
  • Parking is free on the streets surrounding Centre in the Square.  There are paid City of Kitchener parking lots nearby as well.
  • Upon arrival at Centre in the Square, grads should immediately meet in “The Studio” room.  Centre in the Square staff will help direct you there.
  • Grads will be sitting on stage for the whole ceremony.  Cell phones and/or purses should either be left with families/guests or stowed away out of sight while on stage (e.g. under your chair on stage).
  • We will have a professional photographer to take a picture of each grad as they cross the stage.  Parents are asked to remain at their seats for the whole ceremony and take pictures from their seats.  We will email the professional photos to each grad’s personal email address after the ceremony.
  • Diploma (mailed to KCI from the Ministry of Education) & yearbook pick-up will be available at KCI in October.  KCI will post a message on the KCI website when diplomas and yearbooks are ready.
