Wednesday, September 25, 2024 will be the first Blended Learning Day of the 2024-25 school year.
During these Blended Learning Days, staff will be engaging in Professional Development to further support the expansion of de-streaming and single streaming along with professional learning opportunities around instructional and assessment strategies that centre our students. For students, these days will be similar to our Instructional Support Days, where students are not required to attend in-person, but will have learning provided through the virtual classroom and meetings with their teachers.
The dates for future Blended Learning Days are:
Wednesday, December 4, 2024 – Week 2
Wednesday, February 26, 2024 – Week 2
Wednesday, May 7, 2025 – Week 1
Schedule for the day:
- In the morning, students should log into their online classroom environment to engage in remote asynchronous learning.
- In the afternoon, students will meet in their online classroom environment (e.g. Google Meet) for remote synchronous learning with their teachers as per our Blended Learning Day Schedule.

Please note:
- A supervised study space will be available in the morning for students who wish to attend.
- Blended Learning Days are instructional days.
- Attendance will be taken so students must engage online or in person.
- ACE students will attend school with regular programming and following regular attendance procedures.
- Transportation will run at regular times
