In this course, the students will develop their baking skills in relation to the hospitality and tourism industry as well as home baking.  They will focus on the health and safety legislation of food practices in the bakeshop, basic understanding of methods and techniques, measurement, and recipes.  Students will use industry-standard tools and equipment while learning to prepare and present food items with an introduction to cakes and decoration.
